The original goal of the app was to solve one pain point. Customers without a Shop account had to type their email at the till while the line built up. Now, a customer opens the Burbank Cards app, scans a barcode at the register, and their points apply instantly. The same coupon works at mobile checkout as a copyable code, and the rewards card lives in Apple Wallet for use anywhere.

For a shop balancing local walk-ins with out-of-state collectors, the impact has been immediate. Floor staff move faster, customers redeem more often, and the core base has migrated from the website to the app as their daily way to shop with Burbank.
